What the research has measured in these assets
Figures from published clinical studies on the active ingredient and concentration tested. These are not data on the use of NydraShop products, nor do they guarantee the same result.
of the participants improved

of objective improvement
More hydration and finer texture with 0.1% retinaldehyde.

less skin aging
With daily sunscreen use for about 4.5 years, compared to occasional use (903 adults, randomized trial).

it takes time for the skin to restore its pH
The skin’s average pH is around 4.7, and tap water (pH ≈ 8) raises it for about 6 hours (330 people).

It takes a while for sensitivity to sunlight to return to normal
After 4 weeks using 10% glycolic acid, the skin became more sensitive to UV rays; one week after stopping, there were no longer any differences (randomized trial, 29 people). With AHA exfoliants, always use sunscreen.

molecular weights reduced wrinkles
Creams with 0.1% hyaluronic acid: all improved hydration and elasticity, but only the 50 and 130 kDa creams reduced wrinkle depth (76 women, 60 days).

it's what you actually apply as sunscreen in real life
The SPF on the label is measured using 2 mg/cm², but under normal conditions, much less is applied, and the actual protection decreases significantly. Authors' tip: apply before exposure and reapply once within the first hour.

used 5% niacinamide on half the face for 12 weeks
Compared to the cream without niacinamide on the other half of the face: fewer fine lines, dark spots, redness, and yellowing, and more elasticity (double-blind).

of the use of a filtration of the secretion (the "slime") of the snail Cryptomphalus aspersa
Wrinkles around the eyes improved compared to the placebo on the other half of the face (25 people). The participants did not notice a difference in their skin quality. It is the secretion of a specific snail, different from the snail mucin in other creams.

of salicylic acid did not increase sun sensitivity
In 14 people, after 3.5 weeks, 10% glycolic acid did increase sensitivity to solar radiation (redness, DNA damage, and sunburn cells), while 2% salicylic acid produced no significant changes.
